CAMPAIGN
You can’t spell MOVEMENT without MO.
PUT THOSE RAZORS DOWN – RAZORS ARE FOR CLOSERS! And Men, there’s still work to be done.
Starting on Mo Friday (formerly known as Black Friday – it’s the day after Thanksgiving) the transformation shall begin. Your handsome Movember Mo will be transformed from a nice, clean, and perhaps not so innocent fundraiser to a nasty, nunchuck slinging, kung fu fighting beast supporting local charity! That’s right men, there’s still work to be done here.
And your Mo isn’t just in the game – it’s the Pro Bowl QB!
VISION STATEMENT:
The Color My Mo campaign through its strong network of participants, donors and fundraisers will work diligently to support men, women and children who believe in creatively contributing to charitable causes within their own respective communities so that;
…charities can benefit from local funding enabling continued work and outreach;
…local families and children will receive much needed support during the holidays;
…senior citizens in your community won’t be without a meal or a friend;
…community schools can benefit from discretionary funds used for education;
…in the end, we can truly demonstrate our love and compassion for others.
WHAT IS REQUIRED OF YOU AND YOUR MO
- You select a charity or a particular cause you wish to support in your local area (ideally 5-mile radius from your home or office)
- Build your profile on colormymo.com
- Set your fundraising goal (set it high and try, try, try)
- Tell your friends and family of your charity and your intentions [begin countdown]
- Start raising money! All donations accepted via Paypal
- Color your MO with the preferred or chosen color selection
- Post a photo of your MO on your Facebook and Twitter pages congratulating your donors on a pledge well made
- Strut that Mo for a full week
- Strangers will ask ‘why do you have a colored moustache’? [ignition]
- You will explain your charity, refer them to your colormymo.com profile (see BEAST KIT) and immediately make a new friend
- Congratulations! You and your MO have hit your goal and made your community a much better place! [Houston, we have liftoff!]
COLOR MY MO WILL PROVIDE YOU A BEAST KIT THAT INCLUDES;
Five colors of dye (lime, yellow, pink, blue, purple)
Business Cards – Yes, that’s right. Your Mo is not only in business – it means business. You will use your cards to get those around you – friends, family and perfect strangers – fired up and digging into their wallets to support your cause. When you get asked about your pink mo? BAM – that’s opportunity a-knockin’! All you have to do is sit back and let your Mo do the talking.
A sweet TEAMo-shirt – because everyone needs another shirt! What’s so great about this one? It’s plain black with the Color My Mo green logo. That’s it – nothing more. It’s so awesome Johnny Cash would wear this thing!
